Simple Shortcut Application for AutoCAD

Has 36 Assignable buttons that can be used to enter custom commands. Made by me 😀

How to Install:

  • Download from here (Google Drive).
  • Place the .exe file anywhere. Make a shortcut to it on the desktop, or just place the file on your desktop.
  • Simply open the exe file to run the application.
How to use:
  • Initially all the buttons are blank.
  • To assign a command to a button, Right click on the button. Enter the command and click OK.
  • The command will show up on the button.
  • When you click the button, the application will send your assigned command along with a space to AutoCAD (which should be running).
This application is a simple standalone application. It does not require any internet connection or any extra files. Latest .NET framework should be ready on your Windows PC. You can do this by simply using Windows Update.
The application is dumb. Which means that it will send your assigned command as-is with a space at the end. If you don’t type anything and press OK, it will assign just a space (” “) to the button.

Note: This application is very small and though it cannot do any harm, I will not be responsible for any harm done due to or involving this software. It does not edit, read or create any files. It does not connect to the internet. It only sends keystrokes. This does not mean that it is a key-logger. Don’t over-think.
